Synanthropisation of coastal vegetation in southern Spain

چکیده
Coastal dunes have high ecological value, but are often damaged or overexploited by beach tourism. The main problems for the vegetation of this ecosystem physical destruction and synanthropisation, latter due to colonisation both alien apophyte species, favoured human action. This study analyses degree synanthropisation a stretch coastline in southern Spain, systematically surveying flora present six biotopes: beach, foredune, mid-dune, back-dune, creek rocky area. percentage synanthropic species was 51%, which 33% apophytes, mainly ruderal weeds, 18% mostly from gardens adjacent coastal zone. varies biotope, ranging zero on 63% with marked increase inland. Richness diversity is highest biotopes higher at cost lower naturalness. Measures need be taken protect vegetation, synanthropisation.

Genesis of coastal dune fields with vegetation
Vegetation greatly affects the formation and dynamics of dune fields in coastal areas. In the present work, we use dune modelling in order to investigate the genesis and early development stages of costal dune fields in the presence of vegetation. The model, which consists of a set of coupled equations for the turbulent wind field over the landscape, the saltation flux and the growth of vegetat...
متن کاملAndalusia, Spain: An Assessment of Coastal Scenery
The 1101 km length of the Andalusian coast (Spain) was assessed for coastal scenery at 45 specific locations. Selected areas covered resort (3), urban (19), village (8), rural (10) and remote (5) bathing areas. Scenery was analyzed for physical and human parameters via 26 selected parameters. These parameters were obtained by interviews of 4500 people on European beaches. Each parameter was ass...
متن کاملDune Slack Vegetation in Southern New Zealand
A range of slack vegetation in southern New Zealand was described by detailed sampling of four dune slacks, contrasting in topographic situation and in vegetation. Comparison is made with a slack previously sampled on Stewart Island. The five slacks differed markedly in the plant communities present. One slack, where there was considerable peat accumulation, was dominated by the megaherb Phormi...

OBJECTIVE To analyse clinical and epidemiological characteristics of immigrant patients diagnosed with strongyloidiasis in our area. METHODS An analyse was performed on patients with strongyloidiasis seen in the Tropical Medicine Unit of the "Hospital de Poniente" in Almeria (Spain), from April 2004 to May 2012. RESULTS A total of 320 patients were diagnosed with Strongyloides stercoralis i...
متن کاملEffects of geology and human activity on the dynamics of salt-water intrusion in three coastal aquifers in southern Spain
Mathematical modelling of salt-water intrusion processes in three aquifers on the southern coast of Spain (Río Verde, Río Vélez and Castell de Ferro) reveals that, although all three systems are subject to the same climate and seasonal over-exploitation, geological and human factors have very different effects on the dynamics of contamination. In the Río Verde aquifer, the most important influe...
